Film sales tax slated
Professional photographers have criticised the changes made in the Budget in sales taxes on film!
jSubmissions-, against the sales tax changes were being prepared by the Professional Photographers’ Association and would be presented to the Minister of Customs (Mr Templeton), the association’s president (Mr B. Mitchell)
told members at their annual convention in Christchurch.
A letter had already been sent to Mr Templeton, and to the Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon) expressing dismay and concern about the Budget decision to replace sales taxes with a flat rate of 40 per cent and asking for the reasons behind the decision, Mr Mitchell said.
