National Parks Amendment Bill
Sir, — It is just too bad if Eric Bennett and others are upset at the way the new National Parks Amendment Bill clips the wings of the National Parks Authority ever so slightly. The .hardened nature conservationists are a veritable fowlhouse for clamour, squawks and flights of fancy. If the National Parks Authority got mixed up in the flutter, and is now neading for a slight trimming, it is a shame, ’ but do not blame the moderate conservationists. ’ — Yours, etc ■ j '.j . ANNETTE KERR, ■’ Greymouth. August 6, 1980.
