Delay on Dunedin slip aid

PA Wellington The Government, has delayed a decision on providing finance for remedialwork after the Abbotsford landslip disaster until a commission of inquiry reports later in the year. The Green Island Borough Council had asked the Government for help, but the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) told a news conference yesterday that the Cabinet did not propose to take any action until the commission’s report was received.
