Miramar wins promotion
The northern and southern region teams to enter the Rothmans Soccer League next year have yet to be found, but the central region winner was decided last wp alt-pd fl Miramar Rangers picked up the one point it needed to win the central league title in a scoreless draw with Stokes Valley. However, the northern region contest remains a close battle, with fotlr teams having a chance of taking the title. Otahuhu Courier, which was beaten, 3-1, by the Adidas Chatham Cup semi-finalist, Takapuna City, on Saturday, shares the competition lead with East Coast Bays. Takapuna and Ellerslie are both two points, back, but have two games in hand. In the southern region, Woolston W.M.C. and Western will meet on Saturday, effectively to decide the team to play off with either Caversham or Mosgiel for a national league spot
