Huntsbury Spur shed
Sir, — I would support Mr Neeson (August 7). This shed is on a ridge, not. recessed. It is at about 1000 ft cdntour level and may be allowed under the ordinances of the Heathcote County scheme under review. ; My submissions to the as ■' yet incomplete review were that there, should be a total restriction on buildings, espe-
cially urban development, above the 600 ft contour level. I understand the county has ’ finished the hearings of the 900 or so submissions and is publishing its findings. These policies will be subject to appeal if they do not measure up to the demands of the people submitting objections. It is my opinion that the owner got in under the old scheme operative until the new one is promulgated. The new one could very well contain total restriction on buildings of any kind. Surely it would have been possible to erect this shed lower down, close to current development.— Yours, etc., JOHN W. JAMESON, President, Summit Road SocietyAugust 7, 1980.
