Mistake in last quinella
The quinella on the last race at Riccarton on Saturday was wrongly calculated to yield a dividend of $677.70. The correct dividend on the Sugar Time-Et Tu combination was $615.15.
Fifteen people have been overpaid leaving the club with a loss of about $9OO because of the mistake. The secretary of the C. J.C. (Mr Malcolm Aim) appealed yesterday to those people concerned to
refund the difference between the incorrect and the actual dividend. “The club will come: up with something to reward them for their pains and their honesty,” Mr Aim said. i
