$425 stolen from shops
Burglars were active in the Barrington Street-Selwyn Street area on Thursday.
Four premises were entered and a total of $425 was found to be missing.
. The biggest haul was $4OO from the Barrington Saving Centre. The Salvation Army Community Centre in Edinburgh Street and' Reid’s Butchery, 292 Selivyn Street, were both entered, but nothing was taken. Selwyn’s Meats, at 293 Selwyn Street, had $25 taken.
