Fashion parade for ballet
The Southern Ballet Company could benefit by as much as $2OOO from a fashion parade to be held at the Northlands shopping centre on August 27. The show will feature fashions for both sexes from five years upwards. Clothes will be supplied by shops in the mall. John Hore and Suzanne Prentice will provide entertainment, and invitations have been sent to several civic dignitaries. The money will help the ballet company’s plans for a new threatre at the Arts Centre.
