Neroli well placed
NZPA Washington Nenoli Fairhall, the Christchurch paraplegic archer, who was chosen for the New Zealand Olympic team for Moscow, is doing well at the half-way stage of the United States national championships at Oxford, Ohio.
After the first full round in the women’s individual competition was completed yesterday, she was lying fifth over all, with 1231 points against the 1288 of the leader, I. Daubenspek. Neroli is the leading foreign competitor and trails the third placeholder by only 10 points.
