N.Z. stand on whaling applauded

Conservative lines to be taken by the New Zealand three-man delegation to the International Whaling Commission have been applauded by Project Jonah. The Christchurch co-or-dinator of Project Jonah (Mr G. Martin) hopes New Zealand’s view will encourage the commissioners of other countries to support the United Nations recommendation that whale populations are too small to allow whaling to continue.
