Candidates
Two Labour Party candidates have been nominated for the Rangiora electorate. They are Mr Dick Lowe, the regional chairman of the Labour Party;’in Canterbury and the Canterbury secretary of the Labourers’ Union, and Mr Christopher B. M. Hayward, a Rangiora Borough councillor and the chairman and organiser of several, community organisations. Nominations .closed at Wellington at 5 p.m,. yesterday. ' .
