Canterbury has a difficult task if it is to repeat its third placing of two years ago when, the Wisden Cup national, provincial badminton championships begin in Dunedin today. . ' Placed in section two with Auckland, which has dominated the contest in recent years, North Shore, Otago and Hutt Valley-Wairarapa, Canterbury will have to per-
form well to head off Auckland and North Shore, in particular. The teams in section one are Wellington, Waitemata, Waikato, Southland and Taranaki. Canterbury will meet Otago this afternoon, North Shore tomorrow morning, Hutt Valley-Waira-rapa tomorrow evening and Auckland on Saturday morning. ■
