Drug-fine hearing adjourned part-heard
A hearing to determine the amount of a fine that might be imposed on a drug dealer, who has been imprisoned. has been adjourned part-heard by Mr • Justice Cook in the High Court. On July 4, Brian Christopher Mules, aged 26, an electrician, was jailed for seven years by his Honour; on three charges of supply-ii ing heroin ‘ and .one of pos- ; session of heroin. Mules was also ordered to forfeit $5740 i
which he admitted obtaining through drug deals. • Because Mules disputed the source and valuation of his assets made by the police the question of a fine in addition to the prison term had been adjourned. Mr G. K. Panckhurst appeared for the Crown and iMr D. J. R. Holderness for ! Mules. ; The date when the hearing 'will resume has not been determined.
