Dave McMillan, of New Zealand, led from start to finish to win the Mid-Ohio 1 0 0-kilometre mini-Indy Supervee race, yesterday.

It was the second straight victory for McMillan, who went into the race as the points leader in the series for miniature, Sirocco-pow-

ered versions of the cars that run at Indianapolis.

McMillan’s Ralt, RTS. which sat on the pole, led all 26 laps on the narrow 3.Bkm road course at MidOhio. He averaged 151.768km/h, finishing more than six seconds ahead of a March driven by Bob Lazier, of the U.S.

Michael Chandler, of the U.S., was third.
