PA Ashburton Country and Western fans familiar with the songs, “Love in a Fowl House” and “Birthday Wishes,” as recorded by Ashburton’s Garner Wayne, will he pleas.d to know he has been at it again. Wayne has just released a 35-song album, the best of Garner Wayne, and in-
eluded on the record is new' Wayne composition designed to plug proposed Mid-Canterbury sugar-beet energy developments. The title? “Fill ’Er Up With Beetroot Juice.” Wayne already has 14 albums, 15 E.P.s, and two hit singles to his credit although his recent live appearances have been limited because of a heart ailment.
