Piggott wins again
NZPA Newmarket Moorestyle coasted to victory at Newmarket on Wednesday in the six-fur-longs July Cup, one of the top sprint races of the British season, to improve the jockey Lester Piggott’s great record in the race. Piggott has now won the rich event nine times and three years in succession.
Moorestyle was always going well and looked to be the winner a good way out. He won by two lengths and a half from Vaigly Great.
