‘McPhail and Gadsby’
Sir, — In last evening’s McPhail and Gadsby programme, Gadsby revealed the real problem of Christianity for so many people. As King James, he wondered why his Lord had to die. Peter wondered the same (Matthew, 16.21-28). May the viewers, read and digest the truth of that reference, and may those associated with this production be comforted with the words of Christ: "Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” — Yours, etc., R. J. VAUGHAN. July 10, 1980.
