R.N.Z.A.F. CAREERS General Service Instructors Applications are invited for positions as General Service Instructors with the R.N.Z.A.F. These positions will suit people who have at least three years secondary education, like working with people, have a strong sense of responsibility, are resourceful, of good appearance, interested in military subjects and preferably have had some previous Military,-’Police, or Bushcraft/Outward Bound experience and enjoy an active outdoor life. After training, successful applicants will be appointed initially to the General Service Training School at R.N.Z.A.F. Base Woodbourne (near Blenheim) and promoted to the rank of Corporal. They will then be responsible for instructing personnel in many facets of the active and passive defence of:- Defence property and installations, Drill and Ceremonial, Air Force Lav/, General Service Knowledge, Bushcraft and Character Development Activities.
