Latest failures were in in the Auckland area. Has shown sound form on coun.try courses and could surprise. M. de Filippi 5 6086 TRUANT LASS (1) 10. Ran on quite well for sixth at Addington on Anzac Day. Has a sound record as a stayer and by no means a forlorn chance in this.

T. May 6 2430 COO'S BOY (2) 10. Failed to begin cleanly at Ashburton on April 26, losing all chance. Previous form was of a sufficiently high standard to give him a great chance of winning. J.
