NZPA Hong Kong : The New Zealand men’s basketball team arrived in Taipei yesterday from Hong Kong to contest the 13-team international tournament for the William Jones Cup. The New Zealanders were in good heart after! recording ; a second win against a Hong : Kong invitational side on Wednesday night, 110-75. Team followers said play-
ers had become used to the humidity — about 90 per cent —prevalent in the region and appeared more settled on the court. Canterbury’s Stan and John Hill were again outstanding for the Kiwis and scored 24 and 17 points respectively. i The Taiwan tournament begins tomorrow and will finish on May 21.
