Sir, — I was greatly interested to read the article about Commander Ryan (“The Press,” May 7), and I am profoundly relieved that someone else has so much confidence in our beloved country. Although I am not up on the technological department, I still agree with his statement, “I see us having a romantic and exciting future.” I would thank Commander Ryan for a little enlightenment in the gloom. — Yours, etc., (Mrs) E.
