House fire: arson suspected
A fire which caused extern sive damage to a house at 733 Ferry Road yesterday is being treated by the Christchurch police as suspected arson.
Fire engines from the Woolston and Central staions were sent to the fire at 12.10 p.m. They arrived to find the front of the wooden, single-storey house well ablaze. Firemen had to use breathing apparatus while brining the fire under, control.-
