Reconciliation sought
PA Wellington The president of the New Zealand University Students’ Association (Mr Simon Wilson) has asked the Minister of Education (Mr Wellington) for a meeting to discuss a reconciliation. “We have suggested that a meeting be held so that wc can discuss the basis of reestablishing relations,” Mr Wilson said. In a letter to the Minister yesterday, Mr Wilson asked Mr- Wellington to agree to “clear the slate.” The students were unwilling to speculate about what they might do if Mr Wellington did not answer their letter which they posted as he asked. , “We hope to hear from him soon.” Mr Wilson said. “The ball is back in his court.”
