Mrs Jones out for season
Special correspondent Cambridge The Cambridge jockey, Mrs Linda Jones, will not resume race ridihg until next season. She is still receiving daily physiotherapy treatment for neck and pelvis injuries suffered in a fall from Rapid Remark in training several weeks ago. , 4 "'.' Mrs Jones, who has ridden 69 winners in New Zealand said: “I have really suffered this time. It seems to have also aggravated old injuries so I will not be back until 1 really feel 100 per cent.” The setbacks to her careef have not diminished hef keenness. She has a cherished ambition to at least complete her apprenticeship to the stable of her husband A. L. (Alan) Jones. It expires in August, ,1982.
