Spain goes Right
The Spanish Prime Minister (Mr Adolfo Suarez) has ended weeks of political uncertainty by announcing a Cabinet reshuffle that indicated a shift to the Right by his Centrist Government. Mr Suarez, who has presided over Spain’s transition from Right-wing dictatorship to Parliamentary democracy, dropped six Cabinet members, including two Liberals and two Left-of-Centre Social Democrats. They were replaced by technocrats of Right-of-Centre members of the ruling Union of the Democratic Centre- — Madrid.
