Fair raises $2000
The Cancer Society benefitted by $2OOO from the national antique fair held in Christchurch last week.
About 2600 people passed through the Horticultural Hall during Wednesday and Thursday when the fair was open to the public. Mr Alan Osborne, president of the Antique Dealers’ Association, presented a cheque for $2OOO to the society on behalf of the association and the fair sponsor, the Altrusa Club of Christchurch:
