Jockey suspended
PA Palmerston North Rider K. Nightingale was suspended until May 7, three effective riding days, for causing interference in the Telegraph Handicap at Woodville yesterday. Inside the last 100 m his mount Coober’s Knight, moved in considerably when ridden with the whip, and Avonova had to be sharply checked.
