Mi-Sex to tour
Christchurch will get its chance to hear the top New Zealand ' band, MiSex, when the group returns from Australia in June for a nationwide tour.
Mi-Sex will play a nineconcert tour, starting off from Invercargill on June 13, which, incidentally, is Black, Friday, and closing in Auckland on June 22. The group plays at the Christchurch Town Hall on June 15.
The group is now being described as the top band in and claimed as home-grown by many Australians, after winning the annual Countdown-TV Week rock awards in Melbourne for best single of the year (“Computer Games”), best album, and for the expatriate New Zealander, Titer Dawkins, best producer for his work with Mi-Sex.
