FURLOUGH: Will be granted in respect of actual Service in Western Samoa and is one consecutive day for each 12 dayslof service. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIUTCES: ; 1. First line maintenance of of all Satellite earth sta- i tion equipment. 2. Assist with performance measurements. } 3. Undertake ftadt investiga-1 tions. 4. Assist in operation of system. 5. Operate Stores. 6. Assist in repair of equipment. 7. Relief Supervising Technical Officer (Electronics) as required. QUALIFICATIOMS AND • i EXPERIENCE: (a) Education With a diploma in engineetring or science (minimum 3 to 4 years advance studies beyond. Secondary School! with evidence of specialisation in telecommunications Or An equivalent level of education >and specialisation in th'i field relevant to the activity of the post, supported. |by appropriate qualifications or references. (b) Experience in the opera-’ tion and (maintenance of general . telecommunications and Islectronic equipment. e.g. multiplex equipment, j VFTCJ terminals. I Microwave link equipment:).
