Transport licensing fees rise
PA Wellington The Government has ap» proved increases in fees under the Transport Licensing Regulations. The increased fees cover applications to the licensing authorities, the Transport Licensing Appeal Authority and 'the Transport Charges Appeal Authority or to the Septe-. tary for'Transport, to prescribe, alter' or review charges, the annual fee for transport licenses, and the annual fee fox' making certificate of fitness inspections. In all but one case the fees have been increased bv about 15 per cent so that the fees will meet the costs of administration of the svstem. 1 ’ . The fee for :applications to the Transport Licensing Appeal Authority and the Transport Charges Appeal Authority has been increased from $2O to 3100to bring this into hne with the "fee for -applications to the Air services Licensing Appeal Authority.
