Arrests at Taylors Mistake

.Four girls and four youths were arrested after police patrols blocked the exits from the holiday settlement of Taylors Mistake yesterday. The group apparently had been “looking for somewhere, to stay,” according to the police. The eight will appear in court on a wide range of charges, including burglary, theft, wilful damage, and being found unlawfully on premises. Five will appear in the Children and Young Persons Court, and three in the District Court.

Police cars converged on Taylors Mistake about 11.30 a.m. after a local resident reported that several young persons had been acting suspiciously near baches. A small amount of property was recovered.
