Filming of Thomas case completed
Wellington Reporter Shooting is now complete on the New Zealand feature film, “Beyond Reasonable Doubt,” based on David Yallop’s best-selling account of the Arthur Allan Thomas case.
Film editing has now begun and the film is expected to be released in August. Three main private investors have announced their backing of the film
Briefly Investments, Ltd; Mr Bob Jones; . and the Auckland merchant banker, Fay Richwhite, Ltd.
The film has attracted extensive publicity. It is produced by John Barnett and directed by John Laing.
The courtroom set in Auckland was visited by the Minister of Justice (Mr McLay), who is now making arrangements to preserve the set when work on the film is finished.
