“I am pleased to say we came to a unanimous decision and, as far as Radio Avon is concerned, the status quo remains — Avon’s announcers have agreed to continue with their rostered programmes. “Mr Morrie Shanahan replaces Mr Wayne Garton as programme director and it is the board’s hope and desire that Mr Garton will accept the position of operations manager, a position we all know he would handle to Radio Avon’s advantage,” Mr Mortlock said.'
