Annual feis results
PA Invercargill About 125 competitors from throughout the South Island took part in the annual South Island feis, conducted this year by tire Invercargill Irish Society. Results were:— South Island Senior Championship Cup: Lynette Fox (Christchurch). Connaught Cup. Patricia Rabbitte (Invercargill). Lavin Cup: Lynnette Fox. John Roderick Kay Cup: Jennifer Powley (Christchurch). Goodwin Cup: Tania Kennedy (Christchurch). Windosr Cup: Lynch School (Christchurch). Brendan O’Dowda Cup: Anne Marie Joyce (Invercargill). Shelia White Memorial Cup: Juliet Hurley (Christchurch). J. Kelly Cork Cup: Emma Cunliffe (Christchurch). Matthew Cup: Lynch school. River Shannon Cup: o’Ha g e n School (Invercargill). Seth Newell Memorial Shield: Pratt School No. 1 (Christchurch). Catherine Ferguson Memorial Cup: Caroline Garbett (Christchurch). Invercargill Easter Cup ’6B: Juliet Hurley. Seth Newell Junior Memorial Shield: O’Hagen school No. 1. Filideact Cup for poetry: Sean- Hallissey (Christchurch).
