Johann Strauss dressage runner

Johann Strauss, ridden by Mrs Sue Alleyne, proved himself to be Canterbury’s premier dressage horse when he won three medium competitions and the musical freestyle at the John McEwing’s South Island Dressage Tournament held at Q.E. II Park.

The Canterbury dressage committee was well pleased with the facilities and ground conditions at Q.E. Il park. This was the first time the park had been used for horse events, and could prove a popular venue for future competitions. Results: —
