Delightful Lady due tomorrow
The fine Auckland pacer, Delightful Lady, one of the early ' favourites for the $20,300 Lion Brown Easter [ Cup at Addington Raceway on Saturday, will travel south by air tomorrow. The daughter of Tudor Hanover has fashioned an outstanding record this season and has notched 11 wins, the most recent of which was at the Thames meeting on March 22 when she paced the 3200 m in 4min 9.55.
Delightful Lady’s trainerdriver, Michael Stormont, has not decided whether Delightful Lady will be accompanied south by Markson, which is in the New Zealand Welcome Stakes, or Davey’s Jill, which is an acceptor for the Trotting Championship. However, it seems more likely that Davey’s Jill will make the trip as Markson is engaged at ■' the Manawatu meeting. Davey’s Jill is a sister to Delightful Lady and is a year younger.
