Surface water in car parks and a very wet track brought about a second postponement of the Manawatu Trotting Club’s meeting which was to have been held list night. Originally the club was to have staged the first night of its meeting on Monday but heavy rain brought about the decision to postpone it until last night. Mr Eddie Baxter, secretarv of the Manawatu Trotting Club, said yesterday that the club had been forced to postpone again because of the amount of water still remaining in the car parks and also the very sodden nature of the track itself.
