Bold Display to stay
PA Auckland The proposed Sydney autumn campaign for Bold Display has had to be abandoned. Plans were for the horse to be flown to’Australia yesterday. 1 : Bold Display has developed some filling near the lower joint in his off-foreleg and his trainer. Colin Jillings, conisdered it unwise to risk him on an Australian trip. -,
The trouble with Bold Display became appr.rarit early this morning. Probably he has wrenched the leg in some way, Jillings does not anticipate, the. injury to prove serious. It could, he thinks, clear up in a njatter of days.
