i Store stock numbers were ; well down at the Addington j saleyards yesterday, but [there was no improvement in jthe market. | Store cattle, especially the [calves, had a sound sale, but [there was little interest in ‘the adult store sheep. ’ Calf values were much the same as last week. Steers mainly ranged from $149 to $196 and heifers from $134 to $lB9. The best steer calf price was $234 and for heifers it was $226. ! The bigger calves were ‘easy to sell but buyers were [reluctant to bid on lighter lines. The older store cattle in the total cattle yarding of 873 (1725 last week) were riot easy to sell.
