The- flames could be seat from miles away and ths noise caused by clay pipet and bricks exploding in ths intense heat aroused the at* tentfon of nearby resident! who had been asleep. One resident bn the Cash* mere Hills said the- whole brickworks was on fire "fron end to end." ,
