St John honour
A.Christchurch account--ant has been appointed a Knight of Grace of the Order of St John,. the highest honour awarded to a member in New Zealand. Mr D. Lawrence has served the Order ;of St John since 1961 in Canterbury and the West Coast Other awards recently approved include: Commander, of the Order: Mr A. Janney (Christchurch). Officer: Mr F. Dawson (Lyttelton) and Mr D. Satterthwaite (Timaru). Serving Brother:. Mr C. Croft (Culverden), Mr N. Kelly (Greymouth), Mr J. Swaine (Culverden), and Mr R. Thatcher (Geraldine). Serving Sister: Mrs J. Coles (Christchurch), Mrs A. Grose (Christchurch), and Mrs H. Todd (Rangiora).
