Wools toll Park improvements

Sir, —I would like to thank Mr Drain and his workers for the great improvement at present taking place in Woolston Park. Although I am a keen advocate of trees, in the light of recent events, the present clearance of undergrowth and regrassing is a distinct improvement, making -supervision easier and discouraging loitering. My congratulations to the staff doing the work, for their co-operation and application to the task. The close co-operation of the council and the school has been most appreciated.— Yours, etc., C. G. COTTON. Principal, Woolston School. March 28, 1980.
