Settlement reached
Settlement has been reached in redundancy negotiations between the New Zealand Farmers Fertilizer Company and four unions involved in the closing of the pharmaceutical wholesaling network of Kempthorne Prosser, Ltd. The assistant secretary of the . Canterbury Storemen and Packers’ Union (Mr T; G. Smith) returned to Christchurch last evening from the negotiations in Wellington. He said that full details of the settlement would be reported on Monday to the 20 Christchurch union members involved.
