Many lines were affected by the inclusion of an odd cotted fleecg. '
Cotts sold very cheaply] compared with the January and February auctions. The main buying’ competition came? from. Eastern Europe and Western Europe, supported .by the Middle East. The Wbpl' Board gave substantial support by bidding on 45 per cent of • the offering and having 3132 bales (13.5 per. cent) passed to it. The adjusted weighted average '• sale price was ' 262.43 c a kilogram. Neither retention nor supplementation was needed.
