Lamb price better

Reflecting better prices for lamb in the United Kingdom, prices to farmers for lamb meat will be up by lc per kg to 4c per kg for most grades on Monday. Prices for the PL, OL and CIL grades are up by Ic, the PM, OM, CIM and C2 grades by ■ 2c, the PH and PHH by 3 c and the PX grade by 4c. The YL, YM and Alpha grades are unchanged. However, prices for all skins have been reduced again because of an easing ir wool values. The reductions range to 20c _ for a woolly lamb skin with two kilograms of wool, to 15c fo- - a shorn lamb skin with 1.5 kg of wool, and to 20c for a sheep skin with two kilograms of wool.
