Delhi finds oil
Delhi Petroleum Proprietajry, Ltd, might have made a significant oil discovery in I the Cooper Basin in South l Australia. Its Cuttapirrie No. ■ 1 well has recovered 2042 m of oil and water, 'about 50 per cent of which was oil. The exploration well is lOOkm north of the Moomba gas plant in the Patchawarra East block. Delhi is the well operator on behalf of Santos, Ltd, (28.571 per cent); Delhi Petroleum Proprietary, Ltd, (17,143 per cent; South traiian Oil and Gas Corporation Proprietary, Ltd, (10.536 per cent; Vamgas, Ltd (6.250 per cent; Western Mining Corporation (Exploration) Proprietary, Ltd, (37.5 per cent. Cuttapirrie No 1 is funded by Santos (28.571 per cent) and S.A.O.G. (71.429 per cent).
