Hospital chief chosen
1 The medical superintendent of the Christchurch Hospital (Dr D, A. Andrews) has been chosen to represent New Zealand at the centennial celebrations ■ in May of the prestigious Wellcome Foundation in London. ; Dr Andrews and medical officers from most countries if the world will be brought to Britain by the foundation, which was founded by the internationally known drug
and medical supply company, Burroughs Wellcome. The Wellcome Foundation is responsible for funding many medical projects throughout the world. Dr Andrews said yesterday that while he was .in Britain he would examine new hospital designs which might have some bearing on the $2O million redevelopment plans considered for the Christchurch Hospital.
