NZPA-Reuter Manila At least 30 people were believed to have been killed yesterday when a» Taiwanese airliner blew up and burst into flames after landing at Manila' Airport. Nearly 100 people aboard the China' Airlines Boeing 707 from Taipei survived the explosion and fire, but,many were badly: burned, according to airport officials. Mosti of those; on board, were Chinese: and Japanese.
