Sir, — I am in Christchurch to attend the second cricket test and through your columns wish to express my disgust at the public relations of the local cricket authorities. On Fri-day,-the players left the field in drizzle, but there was no announcement to the public as to when conditions would be reviewed. Today, Saturday the nlayers left the field apparently because of insufficient light. The $4 stalwarts stayed but were again treated with ignore. The contrast between. Carisbrook and Lancaster Park in atti-

tude towards the public was most marked.
