Electricity charges
Sir, — I would like to offer my support in these columns to those people who have had the courage to refuse to pay the last! quarter of their power accounts. These courageous people deserve our highest praise in their stand against a government which seems hell-bent on putting as many people as possible below the poverty line, New Zealand has ample' resources for everyone so let! us start now to build a better future — one that can provide freedom and security for all. — Yours, etc., W. H. DALY, Timaru. February 23, 1980.
